5B Aviation is a full-service FBO and flight school located at Halliburton Field (DUC) in Duncan, Oklahoma, southwest of Oklahoma City. The operation combines flight instruction with fuel services, aircraft maintenance (piston, turbine, and helicopter), courtesy cars, and sleep rooms for transient pilots. The school trains students from Private Pilot through multi-engine ratings using Piper Cherokee PA-28-140 and PA-28-180 single-engine trainers and a Piper Seminole PA44-180 twin-engine aircraft. A state-of-the-art RedBird MCX simulator is available at just $25/hour for simulated exercises, making it one of the more affordable simulator options in the region. Wet rates for single-engine aircraft are $160/hour and multi-engine is $270/hour, all-inclusive of fuel and maintenance. 5B Aviation offers a $100 discovery flight lasting 30-45 minutes for those exploring aviation. The school operates 7 days a week with after-hours call-out available, and uses the FlyChronos platform for online scheduling.
