Ace Helicopters, LLC is an FAA-approved commercial helicopter operation and flight training school based in Colfax, Wisconsin, approximately 90 miles east of Minneapolis. The school operates from a private facility in west-central Wisconsin, offering both recreational and career-focused helicopter flight training under the instruction of their Chief Pilot and CFI, Don Arvold. The primary training aircraft is the Robinson R44 Raven, one of the most widely used helicopters in civilian flight training worldwide. Ace Helicopters can guide students from zero experience through their Private Pilot Helicopter certificate and on to Commercial Helicopter certification, with personalized one-on-one instruction tailored to each students goals and schedule. Beyond training, Ace Helicopters provides a full range of commercial helicopter services including scenic air tours, aerial photography and videography, agricultural application, search and rescue support, and land surveying.
