Advanced Aviation Group is a Maryland-based flight training operation with its Baltimore location at Martin State Airport (KMTN), 701 Wilson Point Road. The school offers a full ladder of pilot certificates — Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, Multi-Engine, and specialty endorsements including tailwheel, complex, and high-performance. Discovery flights run $200 for 30 minutes, giving prospective students a low-commitment entry point. The Baltimore location is part of a two-base operation alongside their Frederick, MD campus. Combined, the schools maintain over 25 aircraft across both sites, spanning singles (Cessna 152, Cessna 172, DA40 Diamond, Bellanca Citabria, Sting S4), twins (Tecnam P2006T, Piper Aztec PA23), and helicopters (Robinson R22, R44, Bell 206 Jet Ranger). Redbird BATD simulators are available at both locations. VA benefits are supported through the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) aviation program — students must enroll through CCBC to access GI Bill funding. AAG offers Part 141 training through that CCBC partnership, giving students access to degree or certificate programs backed by college financial aid. The school does not directly offer financing but points students toward aviation scholarships and third-party lenders.
