ATP Flight Schools
Reviews
ATP Flight School is known for its fast-paced, airline-oriented training, which many students find beneficial for quickly advancing their careers. However, some reviewers note that the fast pace can be overwhelming, and the quality of training centers can vary. Instructing at ATP can provide opportunities to gain flight hours, but the pay may not be as competitive as other schools.

About ATP Flight Schools
ATP Flight School is the largest flight school in the U.S., with over 80 locations and a focus on providing the most efficient path to an airline pilot career. For over 40 years, ATP has been a major supplier of professionally trained pilots to regional airlines. ATP offers airline career pilot programs with career tracks to major airlines, providing students with the training, resources, and support needed to become an airline pilot. The school operates a Part 142 airline training center called ATP JETS in Dallas, TX, which provides Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) training for multiple airlines and offers full-motion Airbus and Boeing simulators. ATP's accelerated programs are designed to equip students with the skills needed to become commercial pilots. ATP partners with United Airlines in the Aviate Program, where students complete training and requirements with ATP before flying for a United Express regional partner airline. ATP students have access to a mobile-optimized web app for lesson plans, online scheduling, and online modules. ATP's fast-paced training environment is designed to mirror the training received from airlines. The school has relationships with DPEs (Designated Pilot Examiners) to minimize check ride delays. ATP has airline hiring partnerships with 38 regional airlines, including Envoy Air and Horizon Air. ATP is known for its fast-track programs, aiming to get students to CFI/CFII/CFI multi in a short amount of time. However, the fast pace can be overwhelming for some students.
