About ATP
ATP Flight School is the largest flight training provider in the United States, training more airline pilots than any other school, academy, or university. Founded in 1984 by airline pilots, ATP has over 80 locations across the country. ATP's accelerated, airline-oriented training approach has trained over 25,000 pilots. ATP operates under FAA Part 141 approval, providing structured training that prepares students for professional aviation careers. ATP operates the largest multi-engine training fleet in the world, consisting primarily of Piper Seminoles, along with Cessna CitationJets. The single-engine fleet includes Piper Archers and Cessna Skyhawks. ATP has partnerships with 39 airlines and offers career tracks to major airlines. ATP's flagship program, the Airline Career Pilot Program (ACPP), takes students from zero experience to commercial pilot with all flight instructor certificates in approximately 12 months of full-time training. The ACPP includes ground school, simulator sessions, and cross-country experience. ATP also has partnerships with United Airlines in the Aviate Program and Frontier Airlines in the Frontier Direct Program.
