About Aviation Institute | University of Nebraska Omaha
The Aviation Institute at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) has been propelling students toward aviation careers since 1990. The institute offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation with concentrations in Air Transport Administration, Professional Flight, and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Operations. A minor in Aviation is also available. The Professional Flight concentration prepares students for careers as professional pilots, equipping them with the skills and certifications needed to succeed in airlines, cargo carriers, corporate operations, or the military. The program blends classroom learning with hands-on flight experience using modern aircraft and advanced flight simulators.
