They provide initial helicopter training, advanced and instrument training, helicopter charter, aerial photography, survey, and aircraft management. With a casual and friendly environment, they tailor training to meet individual needs. Their Chief Pilot is a 32-year aviation veteran with extensive flight and instruction hours. Centennial Helicopters is an FAA-certified and licensed air charter operator. The school offers training for Private, Commercial, Instrument, CFI, CFII, and ATP certificates, including advanced training in Robinson and Schweizer helicopters. They also provide FAA computer testing and have a Designated Pilot Examiner on staff for convenient check rides. Centennial Helicopters also offers aerial tours over Candlewood, the Hudson, the Connecticut Shore, or Manhattan, and can create custom tours. Centennial Helicopters also offers aircraft rental programs, transition training, insurance checks, photography/survey services, gender reveals, and aircraft management.
